'House of Cards' adds Diane Lane, Greg Kinnear for the show's final season

Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear are joining the sixth and final season of House of Cards.

Netflix didn’t have much more to say about the casting than that. Production resumed on the stalled sixth season on Wednesday, ending the hiatus that started in October after allegations of sexual misconduct began to swirl around former star Kevin Spacey.

While some work on Season 6 had already been completed in October, the resumption of work now is really more of a reboot. Spacey’s character has been written off the show completely in light of the allegations leveled against him. Read more…
