Instead of chemicals and sprays, these repellers use ultrasonic sound that supposedly causes unwanted insects and rodents and drives them out of your house without harming them. They’re as easy to install as plugging them into an available outlet and according to the product page, they have no effect on humans or average-sized pets (though pet keepers of hamsters and guinea pigs may want to be wary).
