Newsweek tweets scarily tone-deaf photo of MLK Jr. in a casket

The next time you’re thinking of tweeting a photo of a Civil Rights legend in a casket, just, uh … don’t.

Earlier today, the Newsweek twitter account shared a photo of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in his casket with the caption, “Have you seen my brother Martin?” The tweet was promptly deleted, but not before it caught the attention and ire of Twitter.

Bernice King, the youngest daughter of MLK Jr., also took notice of the strange tweet.
