This genius scale doesn't actually tell you how much you weigh

A startup just released the least judgmental scale you’ve ever seen — and it’s powered by AI. 

The scale, called Shapa, looks like any normal scale, with one key difference: It doesn’t tell you how much you weigh. 

Hear me out on this. 

When you purchase a Shapa scale, you’ll pair it (via Bluetooth) with the Shapa app, available for Android, iOS, or Amazon Alexa. Every time you step on the scale, the app will record (but not show you) your weight. 

There are three things it shows you instead. First, a cute calendar indicates how many times you’ve stepped on (and forgotten to step on) your scale in the past week.  Read more…
