85-year-old grandma is so happy to get a fidget spinner for her birthday

Looking back on the year 2017, it’s hard to not point to the fidget spinner as one notable thing that didn’t make us cry (most of the time). Here’s one more feel-good spinner story to close out the year. (Hopefully we’ll never have to hear about them again after this, but I can’t make any promises, folks.) 

20-year-old Fiona Szilagyi of Calgary, Canada, was visiting her grandmother, Joan Szilagyi, in Lethbridge to celebrate her birthday recently. Despite her tender age of 85, Joan still knows how to have fun like a kid. Fiona explained that while her mother, Maria Szilagyi, was purchasing some gifts for Joan, Maria spotted a fidget spinner.
