Barack Obama has reportedly been called for jury duty

In his farewell address this January, President Obama said that the “most important office in a democracy” was that of the citizen.

We wonder if he’ll still be saying that after jury duty.

The former president has reportedly been called for jury duty in Chicago’s Cook County, where he is registered to vote. It’s unclear whether he’ll be considered for criminal or civil proceedings — that will be determined once he appears in court next month.
