New dad straps on his baby to sing her to sleep with some multi-instrumental smooth jams

Finally, I have something in common with 2-month-old babies: we both love falling asleep to the sweet sounds of early ’80s soft rock. One new dad won’t let his newborn stop him from playing music, only now, he’d rather she were strapped to him while he does.

Relatively new YouTube channel Songs With My Daughter shows what it’s like to make songs with the close assistance of your child.

We’d venture to guess this little girl might enjoy dozing off to her dad’s instrumental covers more than her dad enjoys playing them for her. While she might be too young to appreciate most of these melodies, it’s truly an ingenious way to get the little one to snooze.  Read more…
