A locally-known stage actress was shot dead at her house in Multan on Monday.
Police said, Shamim, alias Shamo, was allegedly murdered at her rented house in Shah Town neighbourhood, according to Express News.
According to the preliminary investigation, the victim’s husband Azhar Ali informed the police almost four hours after the incident. Police have taken the spouse into custody on suspicion of the killing.
Last year, internet sensation Qandeel Baloch was murdered by her brother in Multan for ‘honour’.
