NAB takes notice of illegal land allotment in Gwadar

A NAB Multan spokesman said that accused Nasarullah Chadhar, Tehsildar Aftab Iqbal Gujjar and Muhammad Nawaz were arrested during different raids in DG Khan, Muzaffargarh and Lahore. The accused, while abusing authority and in connivance with other accused, had allotted state owned land in the city to some private party. The land was then advertised as a residential colony titled ‘Azmat Town’ and plots were sold out to people against heavy payments.

The housing society management had already been arrested. Meanwhile, NAB Multan also arrested a person, Muhammad Sajid, on charge of depriving people of their money through fraud loan schemes. He was working under a fake name, Fayyaz, and used to collect money from the clients under the said scheme.
